Consent & Healthy Relationships Programs for Schools Across Perth and WA
What We Offer
We deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed workshops to schools, colleges, and community groups across Western Australia. Each program is designed to be honest, age-appropriate, and genuinely useful - with no metaphors, no gimmicks, and no awkward silences.
How it works:
Book individual sessions or full suites. No obligation to do them all.
Sessions run 60–120 minutes. Longer sessions provide deeper learning outcomes.
Groups up to 50: interactive hands-on workshop format.
Groups 50–150: lecture-style with interactive elements.
Any setting: Schools, community groups, youth organisations, universities.
Suite 1 — Consent & Relationships
All genders · Can be split or delivered together
-
60 min — Covers the full spectrum from healthy to unhealthy to abusive across friendships, family, and romantic relationships. Explores red flags, grooming, power and control, personal boundaries, and what to do when a friend is in an unhealthy relationship.
-
90–120 min — Explores the deeper social forces that shape relationship expectations, gender stereotypes, unspoken societal rules, emotional assumptions, power dynamics, and double standards. Helps young people understand not just what unhealthy relationships look like, but why they happen and how the culture around them makes them easier to sustain
-
60 min — Grounded in the Commonwealth Consent Policy Framework, this session gives participants the language, knowledge, and practical skills to navigate consent in everyday life. Covers the definition and legalities of consent, the consent continuum, practical activities for asking, giving and revoking consent, and scenario-based learning exploring the real reasons behind consent decisions.
-
90–120 min — Goes deeper into the social and situational forces that complicate consent, including alcohol and drugs, coercion, love bombing, gaslighting, drink spiking, and peer pressure. Unpacks victim-blaming myths, explores trauma responses (fight, flight, freeze, fawn), and covers the legal and practical distinctions between sexual harassment and sexual assault. Builds skills for being a supportive friend.
Suite 2 — Online Influence
Male-identifying participants · Years 9–12
-
60 min — Explores how social media algorithms progressively expose young men to extreme content, how the manosphere disguises harmful ideologies inside self-improvement messaging, and what healthy masculinity looks like. Uses the Algorithm Audit activity to build critical digital literacy without triggering defensiveness.
-
60 min — A frank, evidence-based session exploring how pornography and social media shape expectations around sex, gender, and relationships. Uses the Script Flip activity to compare distorted media portrayals with healthy, communicative alternatives. Covers sexting, deepfakes, and consent in digital spaces.
-
60 min — Connects everyday sexist banter to the larger culture of gender-based violence using the Violence Prevention Pyramid. Builds practical bystander skills through the Calling In Lab - focusing on curiosity, empathy, and allyship rather than confrontation.
Suite 3 — Female Empowerment
Female-identifying participants · Years 9–12
-
60 min — Gives participants the tools to critically navigate social media - understanding how algorithms, influencers, and online culture shape self-image, gender expectations, and relationships. Covers filter bubbles, the impact on body image and mental wellbeing, online safety, and the December 2025 social media age restriction changes.
-
60 min — Equips participants with the language and confidence to call out harmful behaviour - and to show up as genuine allies for the people around them. Covers recognising and naming harm, practical frameworks for responding safely, supporting friends who have experienced harassment or assault, and building a culture of solidarity.
-
60 min — A powerful session focused on identity, confidence, and leadership - helping young women define what womanhood means to them on their own terms. Covers womanhood beyond stereotypes, toxic friendships, building confidence and resilience, and practical ways to empower the women and girls around you.
TESTIMONIALS
“It was so lovely to have two incredible presenters deliver some very important safety messages to our Year 9 and 10 girls around the topics of ‘online safety’ and issues around ‘consent’.
Our audiences were captivated by the messages and information shared and left feeling more empowered and in control. The Students felt both Nicolette and Kate were open, accepting and provided a safe and comfortable atmosphere in the room.” — School Health Nurse
“I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU from the RYC staff and the girls in She/Her.
I have heard nothing but positive words from our girls about you lot. We really appreciate you coming down and educating our group.
I honestly wish something like this was around when I was growing up, all the misinformation and stigma around the human body and mental health. Two super important topics you guys covered in such a light-hearted and engaging way.
I am a facilitator myself and know how hard it is to keep a group of teens engaged for that long. Especially a group of girls you don’t know.
I was nothing but impressed and am SO EXCITED to have you back next term. And I cannot wait to work with you again soon.” — Social Worker
“Thank you so much Kate and Nicolette for the talk at ** for year 9 girls today! Its really amazing to finally see some kind of program being brought into schools to educate kids about just how to be generally good people and how to navigate the world and relationships as we get older. ** has had quite a bit of issues regarding the whole area of consent, sexism, homophobia and racism, mostly coming from a lot of uneducated boys across year groups so it’s really comforting to know that us girls aren’t alone in the fight. Everything you said was really inspiring and important and just an overall thank you from me and so many others, what you guys are doing is making a real difference and is starting conversations between people which desperately needs to happen :)” —
