Why

We Are W/M delivers consent and healthy relationships education programs in schools because we believe the most effective way to reduce sexual violence, coercion, and relationship abuse is to prevent it before it happens. Our workshops equip young people with the knowledge and skills to recognise unhealthy relationship dynamics, understand and practise consent, and build respectful, safe relationships - directly addressing the attitudes and behaviours that lead to gender-based violence and abuse later in life. By working with students at a formative age, our programs are a deliberate and evidence-based form of early intervention and harm minimisation, aimed at reducing the incidence of relationship and sexual violence across the community.
